COVID-19 UPDATES: Masks are OPTIONAL while enjoying your visit to Escape on Queen. Although, we ask that if you (or anyone in your group) have tested positive or are experiencing fever/chills, cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, nausea, vomiting or diarrhea within the past 14 days to please reschedule your reservation. All rooms will be cleaned and sanitized between groups, because of this we ask for your patience as we modify our schedule to allow for this additional cleaning. Please call or email us as soon as you develop any concerns or symptoms. Please read the following FAQs to see the other changes we have made to keep you safe and healthy while you Escape.
What is an Escape. room?

An Escape. room is a physical adventure where players gather in a room, they find clues and solve a series of puzzles to Escape. before time is up.

Where can I park?

There is on street parking on Queen Street and there are several parking garages within walking distance.  The closest parking garage is the Prince Street garage.

Who will be in the Escape. game with me?

As of now, all of our experiences are private & a minimum number of tickets must be reserved at the time of booking:

The Tavern: can accommodate up to 10 players – due to the size of this room, it requires at least 5 players to book.

The Hideout, September 1777 & Shipwrecked: can accommodate up to 8 players – minimum of 4 tickets to reserve.  

Will I really be in a locked room?

No, not technically. All of the doors in front of you will be locked and in order to successfully complete the room you must progress through the series of locked doors. An emergency exit is always available.

Can we book a party with you?

COVID-19 UPDATE: ABSOLUTELY! We can’t wait to host your next group event, we specialize in corporate events, team building events, birthday parties, showers and all special occasion events. Feel free to call with any questions as we are continually changing our group accommodation due to CDC recommendations for group gatherings.

Do I need a reservation to play a game at Escape.?

We highly recommend a reservation, just click on any Book Now buttons to book your escape experience. If you don’t see the time you were hoping to come please give us a call and we’ll do our best to accommodate you and your group. 

What if I need to change or cancel my reservation?

Cancellations or changes must be done at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled reservation to receive a full refund, otherwise you will be charged the full booking amount. Changes in booking may be done by following instructions in the confirmation email you receive after booking. If you did not receive a confirmation email please email us directly at contact@escapeonqueen.com

LUNCH & LEARN CANCELLATION POLICY:

Cancellations or changes must be done at least 7 days prior to your scheduled reservation to receive a full refund.
Any changes or cancellations done from 7 days up to 48 hours prior will result in a 50% refund.
After 48 hours, you will be charged the full booking amount.

Is Escape. handicap accessible?

Our building meets ADA code but if you need additional accommodation we will do our best to help.

What happens if I/we arrive late?

We ask that you arrive 10-15 minutes BEFORE your reservation time. For groups of 10 or more we ask that you please arrive 20 minutes BEFORE your reservation time. The game begins at exactly the time you reserved and if you arrive late, you will be allowed to play, but please be advised that our staff will enter the room prior to finishing your game to reset for the next group. If you are later than 15 minutes after your reservation time, YOU WILL BE ASKED TO RESCHEDULE YOUR BOOKING FOR ANOTHER TIME.

Please allow time for finding parking, finishing waivers & payment & to use the restroom if needed before starting. We are located near several great restaurants and cafes so feel free to come early to take advantage of all the great opportunities within walking distance of Escape. THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS FOR LATE ARRIVALS.

COVID-19 UPDATE: It is absolutely essential that you arrive 15 minutes before your reserved start time so that we can have adequate time to clean and sanitize rooms between use.

Are you accessible by public transportation?

Yes we are, check out the Red Rose Transit Authority for routes and times. Remember you will need to arrive 10-15 minutes before your reservation time.

What happens if I need to step out of the room while the game is in progress?

While you are more than welcome to step out of the room, we ask that once the game has started you don’t leave the room as this can distract from the experience. Please note that your game timer will not stop. If you arrive 10-15 minutes before your reservation time that should allow you enough time to use the restroom and get a drink if you would like.

What Age Is Appropriate For The Escape. Experience?

Nearly everyone can enjoy Escape. Persons ages 17 & older may play without a supervising adult but must have a signed waiver, ages 6-16 may play Escape. rooms but there MUST BE a paying adult present in the room. There is no maximum age, in fact, life experience can only be helpful!

How often do the rooms and puzzles change?
The best way to know about future room changes is by visiting our website or our social media page to keep up to date with the latest news about what rooms  and changes are coming!
Do I have to book a private party to celebrate an event?
No, if you would like to come and celebrate an event (birthday, anniversary, bachelor/bachelorette party etc.) just book the entire room and leave a us a comment when booking to let us know what you’re celebrating. If you would like to incorporate something special into the room (a ring perhaps) we are happy to accommodate, just send us an email or give a call to arrange a time to drop off your special item or arrange a secret drop off at the time of your event. If you would like access to our private party room you must book a private party and call to reserve the space.
Are cell phones permitted?
Yes, but they are not necessary. The games are designed so that you can solve each puzzle or clue from information that can be found in the room. If you feel the need to use your cell phone to look up information you may but we ask that you do not take phone calls in the room and you put your phone on silent. ABSOLUTELY NO PHOTOS OR VIDEOS IN THE ROOM. This is to prevent spoilers for future players.
May I bring a camera?
Yes, there will be time to snap some fun photos after your 60 minute Escape. experience is done but NO PHOTOS OR VIDEOS ARE PERMITTED IN THE ROOMS. The rooms are closely monitored and if you are seen taking photos or videos in the room you will be respectfully asked to delete them and you will also be asked to leave the room without refund or rescheduling. We are also more than happy to take some photos for you as well.
What is the cost to play Escape.?

Tickets are $28 per person.
